Loving boy!
- Hi, I’m Lenny and I’m a Scottish Fold! I’m so grateful that SAFE Busselton rescued me after a very confusing start - I was discovered in a bin.
- I don’t think my previous family quite understood me, but since coming into foster care and being desexed, I’ve become much calmer, more settled, and ready to find my person.
- I’m an extremely social boy and absolutely love human company. While I’m not a big fan of being picked up or cuddled, I adore lying right beside you, gently brushing my face against yours, and being part of whatever you’re doing. I’m affectionate in my own quirky way — think companionship over clinginess.
- I’ve been told I’m a bit of a character. I love sleeping on my back, stretching out on my tummy, and generally making people smile with my funny poses.
- I’m currently living with a female Kelpie. I can be a little bossy with her, but overall I don’t mind her company - I’d just prefer to be the main focus of my human’s world.
- I don't like too much chaos so I would feel more comfortable without little people running around and trying to pick me up.
- What I’m really dreaming of is a home where I can bond closely with someone, where I can be your everything and you can be mine.
- I don’t do well being left alone for long periods - I thrive on connection and presence. In return, I promise to be a loving, loyal companion.
- I’m a clean boy, I love being patted and groomed, and I take great pride in looking handsome.
- If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, I’d love the chance to meet you.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
