About Oreo
🐾 Meet Oreo – A Sweet, Gentle Little Soul 🐾
Name of Cat: Oreo
Microchip Number: 900164002379616
Date of Birth: ~3 September 2025
Gender: Female
Colour: Tuxedo
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Foster Carer Suburb: Blacktown NSW
Oreo came into care with her Mum and siblings and has grown into a beautiful little girl with a striking black-and-white coat and the sweetest nature. She can be a little timid when she first arrives in a new home and may hide for a couple of days while she settles in — but once she feels safe, her true personality shines.
When Oreo comes out of her shell, she’s all about playtime and gentle affection. She loves interactive play and happily seeks out pats, and you can even pop her on your lap where she’ll contentedly sit and enjoy all the cuddles. She has a soft, loving presence and forms lovely bonds with her people once trust is built.
Oreo would thrive in a calm, loving home that understands she just needs a little time to adjust. In return, she’ll reward you with playful moments, quiet companionship, and plenty of gentle lap time. In an ideal world Oreo would go with her identical sister Rocky Road but if not she must have another kitty companion.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
