About Toby
Toby is a gorgeous ginger boy, around 14 weeks old, with a sweet and gentle personality and a big love for people. He’s playful, curious, and enjoys cuddles just as much as exploring his surroundings. Toby is confident, affectionate, and enjoys being part of everyday life.
About Toby’s condition
Toby was born with a rare congenital condition called bilateral eyelid agenesis. This means his upper eyelids did not fully form on either eye. Eyelids normally help protect the eyes and keep them moist, so Toby requires some additional care to keep his eyes comfortable and healthy.
What this means for Toby
This condition has been present since birth and is not painful on its own. Toby may need daily eye care such as lubricating drops or ointment, and regular veterinary check-ups to monitor his eye health. In some cases, surgical options may be discussed with a veterinary specialist if required.
Importantly, Toby plays, moves, and behaves just like any other kitten. His condition does not affect his ability to enjoy life, form strong bonds, or be a loving companion.
The home Toby is looking for
Toby would suit a calm, caring home with someone who is comfortable providing simple daily eye care and working closely with a veterinarian. In return, he will reward his people with affection, companionship, and a very big heart.
If you’re looking for a special kitten who will form a close bond and bring lots of love into your home, Toby may be the perfect match.
