Ducky is a happy, affectionate little tuxedo boy with a heart full of love and a personality that shines brighter every day. 🤍🖤
His mum, Sweet Pea, belonged to an elderly gentleman who sadly passed away. A few weeks later, Ducky and his five siblings were discovered and rescued. Despite experiencing malnutrition early in life and facing a challenging start, Ducky has grown into a healthy, confident little boy who is making up for lost time.
Ducky absolutely adores people and wants to be involved in everything you're doing. Whether you're working, cooking, relaxing on the couch, or simply walking from one room to another, you can expect Ducky to be right behind you, carefully supervising every move. 🥰
He is incredibly affectionate, fantastic with children, and has never met a person he doesn't want to be friends with. Ducky loves attention, cuddles, and being part of the action. His friendly, easy-going nature makes him a wonderful companion for families, couples, or anyone looking for a loving feline friend.
Ducky also underwent corrective eye surgery after coming into care. Thankfully the procedure was a complete success and is not expected to be an ongoing issue. He is now a healthy, happy little boy ready to find his forever family.
Because Ducky loves companionship so much, he must go to a home with another friendly cat that he can cuddle, play, and grow up with.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
