About Teddy
Teddy is exactly what his name promises, a friendly, people‑loving softie who wants nothing more than to be close to his humans. He’s incredibly human‑oriented and seeks out engagement with anyone willing to give him attention. Whether he’s leaning in for affection or happily trotting beside you, Teddy brings a warm, joyful presence that makes him feel like a living, wagging cuddle toy.
Playful and full of enthusiasm, Teddy especially loves a good game of ball. He’ll bounce with excitement when he sees it, ready to chase and bring it back with pride. Though he can be a bit boisterous at times, his energy is all in good fun. He’s bouncy, not rough, and always means well. He knows his name and the sit command, and he’s eager to learn more with a family who enjoys training and interaction.
Teddy walks reasonably well on the lead, though he will pull if given the chance, so a confident handler will help him continue improving. He’s not fully house trained at AAPS, but with consistency and routine, he’ll pick it up quickly. Dog‑friendly and social, Teddy could be happily rehoused with another medium‑to‑large dog who shares his friendly temperament and moderate energy level. He’s also carrying a little extra weight, so a family committed to gentle exercise and healthy habits will help him feel his best.
Because of his bouncy enthusiasm, Teddy would be best suited to a home with children aged 8–10 and up. He’s ready to bring love, laughter, and plenty of cuddly charm to the right family. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who lives up to his teddy‑bear name, this lovable boy is waiting to meet you. Apply Now for the opportunity to meet this amazing dog. 🐾
