About Phoebe - 4 Year Old Cattle Dog X
Hi, my name is Phoebe! I'm a cuddly, affectionate and all-round happy and loving girl. I adore cuddles on the couch, sleeping by your feet and hanging out next to you - always with a smile on my face.
I'm really good at listening when there is food involved, and love to do everything I can to please my favourite people. I'd love a home where there's someone home almost all of the time. I'd be a great working from home buddy or would feel happy with a retired couple too.
I've had a pretty hard life so far, so I need a quiet home with little traffic around. I'd love to live somewhere a bit more rural, or in a quiet neighbourhood - with a large yard for zoomies. I can sometimes get pretty stressed on walks, so won't need walking if I have space to get my energy out. I will also need secure fencing to keep me in, and block out any scary noises from outside.
I am not really a fan of cats, or lots of people coming and going from a home. I'm terrified of the car too - I just never know where I'm going to end up! So I'm happiest at my own home with you by my side.
I am okay with other doggies, but because of my background I'm only suited to being around older, calm, quiet and non-vocal companions.
My favourite companions are children too - I love getting cuddles from the little ones, and sleeping at the foot of their bed and protecting them.

Phoebe is in care in Fullerton Cove, NSW and available for adoption to NSW only. Her adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
