Dylan

Dylan is a sensitive, gentle cat who will thrive in a calm and understanding home. He must begin in a small launch room and be given time to settle before exploring the rest of the house, as large open spaces can feel overwhelming for him. Providing plenty of safe spaces is essential, including scratch posts, cat trees, cardboard boxes, cat igloos, and access to shelves or dressers so he has both high and low places to retreat.
Like many cats, Dylan can become over-stimulated with too much petting so It's important to watch his body language . Indoor enrichment, vertical spaces, feeding from enrichment toys, and structured playtime twice daily will help reduce stress and boredom.
Dylan will need a patient adopter who understands he may be timid at first and needs time to show his true personality. A home with teens who can read cat body language would be ideal. He may do well with a calm, social dog if introductions are carefully managed. Dylan especially enjoys roast chicken and the company of quiet, patient people.
