About Sokka
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Sokka, an energetic, fun loving little guy who loves to run around doing flips and then cuddle up on your chest when that makes him sleepy. He is food motivated and loves to climb up anything he can. He also loves a head and back scratches.
It may take some time for his full personality to come out as he is very shy to begin with but once he gains his confidence he is an absolute character.
My Ideal Home:
He will need to go to a home that understands that he is quite nervous to begin with and will take some time for his sweet and silly personality to come out. He would be fine being adopt alone or with his sister Katara. Preferably a more quiet household.
What is Known About My Background:
Sokka was handed in to the local vets with his sister Katara after being found in someone’s yard cornered by some dogs.They had very little interaction with people before coming into care and were understandably very scared but have come an incredibly long way since.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Unknown with kids, doesn’t do well with dogs as is slightly terrified of them, would do well with another kitten or a well socialised older cat that won’t be too rough with him

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
