About Katara
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Meet Katara (AKA LoveBug). Katara is an incredible sweet and loving little girl who always wants to be by your side. She loves to play but doesn’t like when her brother Sokka gets too rough. She can be quite shy to begin with but once you allow her some time to get comfortable her full personality will shine. Her favourite thing is to come cuddle up next to you once she’s let all her energy out.
My Ideal Home:
She will do fine being adopted with or without her brother. She may also need a more quieter house as she gains her confidence.
What is Known About My Background:
Katara was handed in to the local vets with her brother Sokka after being found in someone’s yard cornered by some dogs.They had very little interaction with people before coming into care and were understandably very scared but have come an incredibly long way since
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Unknown with kids, doesn’t do well with dogs as is somewhat terrified of them, would do well with another kitten or a well socialised older cat that won’t be too rough with her.

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
