Hey there! I’m Yoghurt — cool, creamy, and just a little bit tangy (in the best way). I’ve swapped the streets for rescue life, and now I’m ready to find a forever home that’s as sweet and comforting as me.

Nature
I’m a gentle, quiet boy who’s still finding my confidence. I might not rush into your lap just yet, but once I trust you, I’ll be the smoothest companion you could ask for. I love a good nap, a good meal, and a good human who knows how to offer slow, kind affection.

I’ve got that elegant, slightly lanky “still growing” look, and I’m definitely enjoying the chance to fatten up a little — snacks are my love language.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’m calm and tolerant around a baby, so I could happily live with gentle children who give me space to settle in.

I absolutely LOVE kittens, I’m still a kitten myself after all and I love to play. I would be best suited to be adopted with a kitten, perhaps one from my foster home, or to a home with another young, playful cat. I wouldn’t suit a home with a super timid/submissive or old cat, as I can be a bit full on with wanting to play and run around. I could also be okay as an only cat provided you work from home and can spend lots of time playing with me each day.

I get on great with both large and small dogs, so a dog friend could be cool too.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Loves: Food (especially treats!), chin scritches, and quiet naps in cozy corners.
🚫 Dislikes: Loud noises or quick movements — they make me a little nervous.

My PURR-fect home would be an indoor-only home with loving humans and a young, playful kitty friend.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Yoghurt is pure white, due to this he will need to be a strictly indoor cat only due to high risk of skin cancer; a shaded enclosed cat run would be ideal for him to enjoy some fresh air.

Yoghurt has been diagnosed with a grade 1 heart murmur (an abnormal sound in the heart). Heart murmurs are graded between 1 and 6 with 6 being the worst. Yoghurt’s murmur currently is not causing issues and he is not symptomatic so does not require treatment. Heart murmurs can worsen with time so Yoghurt will need to have his heart murmur checked at their annual health check.
