About Buddy
š¾ Hi, Iām Buddy! š¾
As my name suggests, Iām a very sweet canine companion, and Iām ready to find my forever family.
Iām 5 years old and I believe Iām a Border Collie x Kelpie mix, which means Iām smart, loyal and affectionate.
I love being close to my foster family and will happily follow them wherever they go. When we explore the paddock, I enjoy sniffing around, but when Iām called, I come straight back.
Iāve been around sheep, goats, and horses, and Iām very well behaved. I know commands like sit, shake, and lie down, and while I havenāt had much time on a lead, Iād love some ongoing training.
My foster family is slowly introducing me to the chickens, and I havenāt yet been off-lead around them. I haven't been introduced to cats.
I get along wonderfully with my canine foster brother and respect his space. Iāve also met a few other dogs and have had no trouble being around them.
When my foster family goes out, I have the yard to roam, but usually I just lie in the shade and take a nap. Iām a great sleeper and love a good snooze.
Iām house-trained, but every now and then I like to leave my āsignatureā in new places. My foster mum and dad say itās not good manners, and I do feel bad for disappointing them.
Iām a very affectionate boy and canāt wait to find a family where I can give them all my love. I need a home with secure fencing to keep me safe (though Iām not a fence jumper) and humans who have time to include me in their daily lives.
