About Dumpling

Playful | Curious | Sweet
Dumpling is a sweet, playful girl who has been making lovely progress with human interaction and trust since coming into care.
She is becoming much more comfortable with touch and recently reached a big milestone — choosing to hop up and sit on her carer’s lap all by herself while in the study. When she’s sleepy, Dumpling happily accepts pats and will often drift straight back off to sleep.
She’s now comfortable enough to accept gentle kisses on the head without retreating, showing just how far her confidence has grown.
Dumpling has a big playful streak and is full of typical kitten energy. She loves anything that dangles — especially cords hanging from clothes — and has already “destroyed” a few toys through enthusiastic play.
She does very well with other cats and has been confident and inquisitive around Brian and Sunny, eagerly joining in play and interactions.
Dumpling would suit a home that understands kittens, enjoys an active and playful companion, and is happy to continue supporting her confidence as she blossoms.
• Must have another playful, confident, cat-friendly cat in the home or be adopted with another kitten from our rescue
• A typical young kitten, still growing into her personality
• Young enough to be adopted into a dog-friendly home with appropriate introductions

🐾 Thinking of Adopting? Here’s What You Need to Know! 🐾
All of our animals come:
✔️ Desexed
✔️ Vaccinated (1–2 vaccinations – any future ones are the adopter’s responsibility)
✔️ Microchipped
✔️ Flea & Worm Treated as needed
🏡 Indoor-only homes are required – regardless of council laws.

You must fill out an adoption application before being considered for a meet & greet:

(Enquiries alone won’t be considered without a completed application!)
📝 Once approved, your adoption journey includes:
1. A friendly chat with the foster carer
2. A meet & greet

🐱 Interested in a Petstock Pod Cat?
If a cat is located in one of our Petstock pods, you’ll need to:
🏪 Visit the store in person
📄 Apply directly through that Petstock location
✅ Follow their in-store adoption process
We cannot approve applications submitted through our form for Petstock pod cats – those adoptions are managed by the stores.
