Smudge is a shy but very sweet girl whose quirky personality really shines once she feels safe and settled. She can take a little time to warm up, but with patience and gentle care she blossoms into a truly endearing companion.
She has the funniest habit of tumbling and whirling around as if playing with an imaginary toy — it’s genuinely entertaining and shows off her playful, silly side. Smudge is also surprisingly talented at finding the smallest hiding spots, despite not being a small girl at all.
Smudge thrives in a calm, low-key environment where she isn’t rushed or overwhelmed. Once comfortable, she enjoys pats, curling up nearby, and sharing quiet time with her people. Food is definitely the way to her heart and a great confidence builder for her.
She gets along well with other calm, respectful cats and would benefit from either a confident cat-friendly companion or a home where someone works from home and can provide regular reassurance and company. Smudge would prefer a home without dogs.
With time, routine, and understanding, Smudge truly comes into her own and makes a gentle, affectionate addition to the right home.

🐾 Thinking of Adopting? Here’s What You Need to Know! 🐾
All of our animals come:
✔️ Desexed
✔️ Vaccinated (1–2 vaccinations – any future ones are the adopter’s responsibility)
✔️ Microchipped
✔️ Flea & Worm Treated as needed
🏡 Indoor-only homes are required – regardless of council laws.

You must fill out an adoption application before being considered for a meet & greet:

(Enquiries alone won’t be considered without a completed application!)
📝 Once approved, your adoption journey includes:
1. A friendly chat with the foster carer
2. A meet & greet
3. If it’s love – adoption! 💕

🐱 Interested in a Petstock Pod Cat?
If a cat is located in one of our Petstock pods, you’ll need to:
🏪 Visit the store in person
📄 Apply directly through that Petstock location
✅ Follow their in-store adoption process
We cannot approve applications submitted through our form for Petstock pod cats – those adoptions are managed by the stores.

📆 We also offer Pre-Adoptions!
