🐾 Meet Amber — The Snuggle Queen with an Old Soul 💕
Hi, I’m Amber, a 22–24kg Staffy cross with a calm heart, an old soul, and a serious love for humans.
I was impounded as a stray and waited almost 4 weeks in the pound while it overflowed with new dogs. When my time was nearly up, Tails of The Forgotten Paws stepped in at the 11th hour and saved my life. I was listed as critical, but now I’m thriving — and ready for my forever home.

🌸 My Nature
Despite being young, I’m not a “go go go” dog. I’m calm, thoughtful, and mature — more lounge buddy than chaos goblin.
Quiet, sweet, and affectionate
Not a barker (except at possums 😅)
Happy with 40 minutes of activity, then snoozing the day away
Level 5 clinger when it’s cuddle time
Loyal, intelligent, and eager to please
I’m basically your best friend in a staffy body.

🎓 Training & Life Skills
Since being in care, I’ve learned so much:
Level 2 obedience group classes with Pro Dog Training. *A family that will continue to commit to my training & learning will be a dream come true for me.*

House trained & dog-door savvy
Crate trained (sleep in my crate at night, couch naps 12–2pm 😉)
Walk well on leash (mostly — recall is still a work in progress)
Excellent listener and quick learner
Learning is a lifetime journey, and I love learning - I need a family who loves learning with me.

🐶 About Other Dogs
I currently live peacefully with:
2 large foster brothers (Mastiff & Rottweiler)
1 medium younger foster sister
1 small older foster sister
This was achieved through slow, respectful introductions, which helped me feel safe and settled.

That said — I’m a typical staffy:
I prefer calm, mature, well-balanced dogs
I’m not a dog-park dog
I don’t enjoy random on-leash dog interactions
I may be selective with dog friends — and that’s okay
If you’re a staffy lover, you’ll understand 💙
Humans are truly my favourite companions. So Im very happy to be the only dog in the house !

🚫 I have not been tested with cats or small animals.

I’m looking for a home that truly understands and loves my breed.

✔️ Humans who won’t leave me alone 10–12 hours daily
✔️ Secure fencing (over 1.5m — staffy hops 😉)
