About Boof
Hi! My name is Boof. I’m a 3-year-old male Black & Tan Kelpie, and I’m a calm, loving boy with a heart of gold. My sleek black coat with tan markings makes me as handsome as I am affectionate!
Boof is a gentle soul who loves being part of family life. He’s affectionate and snuggly—after playtime, his favourite thing is curling up on the couch with his humans. He enjoys a good game of fetch and will happily return the ball every time. Boof also loves playing with other dogs and would thrive with a friendly canine companion.
Car rides? No problem—he’s the perfect road trip buddy! He’s calm, rarely barks, and is unfazed by rabbits or birds.
Boof already knows his basic commands and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. He’s well-mannered and patient, waiting for his food without fuss. He knows his name and comes when called. Toilet training is solid, and he’s never attempted to jump a fence. Continued practice with recall and reinforcing commands will keep him sharp.
Boof’s ideal forever home is one where he’s included in daily life—he thrives on companionship. A family who is home often or has another friendly dog would be perfect. He’s strong but gentle, so children who are confident and comfortable around dogs will suit him well. A secure yard is essential, and he’s best in a home where he can enjoy playtime and snuggles with his favourite humans.
Boof is located in VIC.

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
