About Peppermint (67575)
Peppermint is our resident sweetheart here at GAWS. Upon entering the shelter as a stray, he was extremely nervous, shut down and lacked general confidence. The rate of improvement has been truly pleasing. Unable to walk on lead or meet a dog standing upright, he has come on in leaps and bounds, showing us he is a personable, social dog who just needs a patient home to support him and boost his confidence. Peppermint would benefit greatly from a calm existing dog in the home to show him the ropes. His history with cats is unknown, but can be easily tested; children are a bit unknown, he may do extremely well however children must be calm and relaxed as he settles, so best no toddlers. Peppermint should continue to blossom in an active, training focused home where he can slowly find his sweet little feet.
