Beautiful big man Rio is looking for his forever home!

This absolutely sweet boy found his way into the shelter after his owner very sadly passed away. As you can imagine, Rio was a little blue when he first arrived, but he has truly come out of his shell and shown us what a happy, gentle soul he really is.

Rio is a very gentle giant. He loves his treats and eagerly waits for them with a polite sit and even a handshake. Although he is on the larger side, he is incredibly gentle and would easily live with primary-school-aged children or older. He would also be happy to live with another dog, as long as they meet at the shelter first to ensure they are the perfect fit.

This boy is all green flags, literally. Our team has assessed Rio and he is all green across the board. He is calm, gentle, loving, and social, and we know he will fit beautifully into any loving home.
