About Loki - 5 Year Old Samoyed
This gorgeous boy is 5 years old, and full of personality. He’s a very happy, good-natured soul who genuinely loves life and the people around him.
He is fully toilet trained and has some training under his belt. He knows sit, shake, and lay down (especially when treats are involved), and is keen to please.
He loves his daily walks and has come a long way with his lead manners. While he’s generally good on lead, at around 25kg he can occasionally be a bit of a handful—especially when something exciting catches his attention.
True to his breed, he doesn’t know his own size and sometimes believes he’s a lap dog! He’s affectionate but also values his independence and is quite content lounging on the verandah, watching the world go by.
When it comes to bedtime, he’s very low-maintenance — he sleeps wherever he drops, usually on the floor, and has decided that dog beds simply aren’t his thing.
As a Samoyed, he can be vocal at times and enjoys having a little “chat” now and then—perfect for someone who appreciates a dog with personality. His beautiful coat does require commitment, with brushing every other day to keep it tangle-free and looking its best.
He is excellent with other dogs of all ages and sizes and would likely enjoy having a dog brother or sister to share his days with. That said, he is also perfectly comfortable being left at home while you’re at work.
