About Topaz - 7 Year Old Staffy
Meet Topaz
Topaz is a beautiful 7 year old American Staffy with the biggest heart and the sweetest personality. He has grown up in a loving family environment and truly thrives on human companionship.Topaz adores people and is wonderful with children, always greeting you in the most endearing way, proudly carrying something in his mouth, whether it’s a toy, tea towel, or whatever treasure he can find to say HI .
He absolutely loves toys… though fair warning, he enjoys pulling them apart until they’re completely destroyed! Topaz is a loyal shadow who loves being by your side and will happily follow you from room to room. He is an inside outside dog, but if you’re home, he much prefers being inside with you.
Topaz is dog friendly and has experience living and playing with other dogs, including a Rottweiler and a deaf doggo. He used to visit the dog park when he was younger, and while he hasn’t been for some time, he would benefit from slow and sensible introductions when meeting new dog friends.
On walks, Topaz walks well on a leash, he can be a little excited at the start but settles nicely once he gets going. He loves car rides and walks, making him a great adventure companion. Water isn’t really his thing, but with encouragement, he’ll give it a go just to please you.
Topaz has had his tail removed due to “happy tail syndrome”, as his enthusiastic wagging caused repeated injuries. It hasn’t slowed him down one bit and only adds to his charm.
This gorgeous boy truly deserves a loving family to share his days with, one full of companionship, affection, and adventures. If you’re looking for a loyal, people loving best mate, Topaz could be your perfect match
WHAT TOPAZ NEEDS:
● A home who can see him through to his golden years
● Requires daily exercise, mental stimulation.
● Would thrive in a home where he is included as a part of the family
Topaz is in care in Swansea, NSW. His adoption fee is $300, and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
