About Brittany
PLEASE do not apply if you don't have another dog.
Brittany is a 4 year old female Labradoodle. She is 15 kg
Meet Brittany, a sweet and gentle dog whose heartwarming journey makes her a special soul deserving of a loving and patient family. Over time, she has made remarkable strides in learning to trust, and now she is ready to find a home that will nurture her continued progress.
Having spent a significant amount of time with us, Brittany has shown that the presence of another dog brings out the best in her. She finds comfort and confidence in the company of her fellow canines, making it essential for her to have a doggie companion in her new home. She’s even been good with cats, making her a good fit for a multi-pet household.
While Brittany dreams of being friendly and engaging, she is still a bit skittish and hard to get close to, so she'll need an understanding and patient owner who can provide her with the gentle encouragement she needs to blossom. Her ideal family would offer a calm and supportive environment that fosters her desire to trust and connect. You must be prepared that this may take a long time.
If you're someone who can offer a compassionate heart, a cozy home, and the joy of companionship, Brittany will reward you with her journey of growth and gratitude. Together, you can build a bond full of love and hope.
We will NOT put Brittany on transport. You will need to come to the shelter with "Your dog" for a meet and greet. This is non-negotiable.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
