About Rosie
Rosie is a beautiful loving dog who has come on in leaps and bounds since being in care. She absolutely adores being around people and just wants to love and be loved 💕.
She loves chasing and bringing back her ball 🥎 which she will drop at your feet. She loves to have a play and chase, as well as a tug of war with her rope. She also loves being sprayed with the garden hose 💦, but is not so keen on the dog bath.
Rosie walks very well on her lead 🐾, and when off it, is extremely obedient coming back when called, as she always keeps you in vision.
She travels well in the car 🚗 and enjoys both looking around and sleeping 💤.
When fed, she will wait patiently until told she can have her food and when given treats, she will gently take them from you.
She knows the boundaries in the house, as she's not allowed in the kitchen or bedrooms, and loves to have a cuddle on the couch. She also thinks she is a lap dog and will, if allowed, join you in your chair.
Rosie would suit a family that has older, as in teenage kids who would spend a lot of time with her, she can get over excited and in these times forgets how big and strong she is and will jump or barge into you, so little kids would be pushed over. Rosie has never been seen around cats, so would best suit a home without them 🐈❌.
Rosie has improved so much in care and is no longer possessive of her toys 🧸, greeting you with them when she sees you.
Rosie will make an amazing addition to any household, giving back as much, if not more, than you can give her. She is such a pleasure ❣️.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
