About Callie rsta014224
Meet Callie, an absolute cutie with a gentle soul! This endearing lady has a heart full of love to give, but she's seeking a special someone who can provide the patience and understanding she needs to blossom. Callie is incredibly shy, making her an ideal match for a serene and quiet home without the hustle and bustle of children or canines.
Callie's journey to confidence is best described by the motto "slow and steady wins the race." While she may startle easily, each passing day brings small victories in her journey towards feeling comfortable and secure. Her progress reflects her resilience and the trust she places in her human companions. With each little step, your bond will grow stronger and more rewarding.
To Callie, the perfect home is a tranquil sanctuary where she can explore her strength. Your patience, love, and quiet companionship are vital to her happiness, along with the comforts of a warm bed, a filled food bowl, and her preferred clumping litter. As you nurture her spirit, you'll find a loyal and loving friend in return—a true testament to the beauty of patience and love. Consider opening your heart and home to Callie, and watch her flourish into the confident lady she is meant to be.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
