Hi! My name is Eddie, and I’m a 12-month-old German Shepherd looking for my forever home.

I’m a high-energy, intelligent boy who is still growing into myself. When I first came into foster care, I hadn’t received any training at all — but with time, patience, and consistency, I’ve already made great progress. I understand the commands sit, stay, heel, and “sensible” (my reminder not to jump up on people… even if I get a little too excited sometimes!).

I’m a good boy at heart who truly wants to learn and please. I would thrive with an adopter who has the time, commitment, and experience to continue my training and help me reach my full potential. Because of my energy level and size, I’m best suited to a home with a good size yard or plenty of mental & physical activities.

I’m great with kids, but since I’m still learning how big and strong I am, I’d do best in a home with older children only. I don’t mean to be clumsy — I just sometimes forget my own size when I’m excited!
