About Amelie
🌸 Meet Amelie 🌸
A little miracle with the softest heart ✨🐾
Amelie’s story began with heartbreak — dumped in a park at just two days old with a bowl of milk and her two siblings 💔 But fate had other plans. Thanks to our rescue stepping in, this precious girl was lovingly matched with a beautiful mama cat who accepted her as her own and helped her grow strong and safe. A true blessing 🌈💖
Now Amelie is one of eight crazy, fun-loving kitties, and her personality shines just as brightly. She is cheeky, playful, and full of love, with the sweetest habit of waking you up by sitting right on top of you, purring and chatting away until you give her cuddles 😻💕
She absolutely adores other kitties, thrives on companionship, and has the kindest, most affectionate nature. Amelie is a total cuddle bug with the softest fur and the most unique, beautiful colouring — truly something special 🐾✨
This loving little lady would be a perfect fit for a fun, active household, or a home with another kitty friend, and she would also be very happy sharing her space with a friendly dog 🐱🐶
Amelie is pure love wrapped in fluff and is ready to bring joy, cuddles, and magic to her forever home 🌸💖

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
