Fudgy

This is Fudgy.
He is small.
He is fluffy.
He is furious about it.

Fudgy is, in professional terms, all types of a terror. Life? Terrifying. People? Suspicious. New things? Absolutely not. His fear sometimes comes out as... well, being a bit spicy. And he will happily tell you so. Loudly. With spicy little hisses and dramatic meows that clearly mean, "Go away, human, I did not order you."

If there were a warning label on him, it would read:
May yell. May scowl. May pretend to be very tough despite being the size of a bread roll.

In the shelter, Fudgy is the kitten shouting from the corner while all the friendly, confident kittens are climbing into laps and stealing hearts. And because of that, he's probably going to be overlooked. Because he's not easy. He's not instantly cuddly. He doesn't make a great first impression.

But here's the secret about Fudgy ...

Once you break down those barriers.
Once he realises you're not here to eat him.
Once he decides you might be acceptable...

He's actually really nice.

Under all that spice is a kitten who wants to be loved - he just has no idea how to ask for it yet. The hissing fades. The yelling turns into curious little chats. And one day, when you least expect it, you'll have earned a purr from the angriest chocolate bar in the box.

And honestly ... where's the satisfaction in adopting a friendly kitten?
They love everyone. They'd go home with anyone.
But Fudgy?
Fudgy will make you work for it.

And when he finally chooses you? That's the good stuff.

Adopting Fudgy means:
