About Maisy *On Trial*
*maisy is currently trialling her new home* maisy is such a gorgeous, affectionate pup!!! she and her sister, daisy, were found wandering the streets of mildura until they were rescued by sarg. Daisy has found her forever home so now its maisy’s time to find hers, will it be with you???
maisy is a healthy, happy normal pup who enjoys cuddles and attention. She looks like she may even be a shar pei/staffy blend though she has the short, sandpapery feeling coat of the pei. She has fitted in well with her carers own 2 dogs and their 2 cats. Maisy is terrific with children having spent her first weeks in care with a 2 and a 4 year old child who almost loved her and daisy “to death” and carried the pups around everywhere. She’s housetrained and loves coming in for snuggles at night but you’d better pop the dry cat food bowls up high as they’re what maisy “ the little fatty” runs to whenever she’s allowed in! maisy is such a bright little girl!
as maisy is still a puppy she will require ongoing obedience training and socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners. While in care maisy will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” and she’s mastered walking on a lead and enjoys getting out and about exploring the world. Maisy has also learnt to play fetch and will even bring the ball back! daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep maisy stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored. At approximately 12kgs and pretty much fully grown maisy will be on the small side of medium once she finishes growing. Maisy is actually a very, dark, dark chocolate colour which is hard to see in her photos. Maisy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s settling in to her new home.
