Heera had a tough start to life, but in true Deaf dog spirit he has shown incredible resilience and now shines as a happy, playful, and affectionate young boy.

After spending several months with the team at Building Better Dogs learning all the basics, Heera made his way to Melbourne, where he’s been living his best life in Collingwood. He loves café outings, playdates with dog friends at the local parks, and heading into the office with his foster mum.

Heera is very responsive to training, especially when guided with positive reinforcement. He enjoys playing tag with larger dogs and people, and is wonderfully gentle and respectful around smaller dogs, often lowering himself to their level to play.

Intuitive and intelligent, Heera thrives on human connection and routine. He’s currently living in a one-bedroom apartment and doing beautifully with his daily walks, mealtimes, and play sessions.
