About Mumbles
Meet Mr Mumbles – a perfect little gentleman with the most adorable underbite you’ve ever seen.
Mr Mumbles is a tripod, but don’t let that fool you — it doesn’t slow him down one bit.
He’s always happy to head out for a walk or enjoy a short run around the local park. He’s not an endurance athlete, though; a short morning and evening walk is all he needs before he’s happily tuckered out for the day.
At home, Mumbles is an absolute dream. He’s perfectly behaved, with no chewing or getting into mischief. After his morning walk, he’s more than content to snooze the day away while you’re at work, making him a great match for someone with a regular work schedule. If you are home during the day, he’ll happily trot along behind you, keeping you company as you go.
Mumbles takes his guard dog duties seriously and will always let you know when the postman or neighbours arrive. Once the excitement passes, he quickly settles back into his favourite activity — napping.
Mumbles isn’t a social butterfly and finds busy environments quite overwhelming. Crowded places like shops, cafés, dog parks, and other high-traffic areas can cause him a lot of stress, so he’s looking for a calm, quiet home and peaceful walks where he can feel safe and relaxed.
He’s still working on his leash manners and can be quite nervous in the car, so he’ll benefit from a patient and understanding adopter.
A calm, quiet home is exactly what Mumbles is looking for. He’s very nervous around strangers and needs slow, gentle introductions, but once he feels safe, he falls in love quickly. Before long, you’ll find him curled up beside you, ready for a cuddle and a snooze.
This little gentleman forms strong bonds and has so much love to give. Mr Mumbles would make the perfect companion for someone seeking a loyal, affectionate lovebug to share their home.

Adoption details
At Village Tails, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
