About Noah
Meet Noah – looking for a calm, loving home to enjoy his golden years
Noah is a sweet, gentle older boy who still has a little bounce left in him, but he’s definitely more about cruising than chaos these days.
He was estimated by the vet to have been born in 2018 and it’s clear he’s been brought up well. Someone has put a lot of work into him — he heels naturally, is very obedient, and responds well to guidance.
Noah is great with other dogs and loves people of all ages, including children. He is polite and calm and walks nicely on lead. Once he feels safe and settled, he demonstrates solid obedience and has excellent recall.
In new or fast-paced environments, he can get a little overstimulated at first, but he isn’t reactive and simply needs time to adjust. He is also happy to be left alone and shows no signs of separation anxiety.
Noah is new to care and was a little stressed when his photos were taken. This shows in the pictures, but it doesn’t reflect his true calm and affectionate nature. New photos are on the way, but we wanted to get his profile up so we can help him find his forever home sooner rather than later.
Noah absolutely adores water and would be thrilled to have access to a dam, creek, or even a small splash pool. He isn’t a fan of car travel and finds it stressful, so he would be best suited as a mostly stay-at-home or property dog, or with someone willing to work patiently with him on this over time.
Noah appears to have very little prey drive. He has shown no interest in livestock from a distance, and cat testing is still to come, but he is shaping up to be a very respectful boy.
Noah is looking for a home where he will be loved, indulged and allowed to enjoy life at his own pace. He has a huge amount of affection to give and will make a wonderful, loyal companion for the right family.
If you’re after a relaxed, kind-hearted dog to share your days with, Noah might just be the perfect match.
