About Kookie
Where do you start with this most gorgeous of dogs?
Kookie is so loveable, so affectionate & so wanting for attention...with out being clingy
She loves people & gets on well with other dogs, but her preference is for 2 legged
company, especially if female.
She bonds with her carer, especially if you are a lady & she doesn't want to leave your side. She is just as happy going for a wander, following at your heals, or lying on the lounge with her (rather heavy) head on your lap.
On saying that, she is very strong & can be a bit stubborn. If she doesn't want to walk in a certain direction, she wont. If she wants to go home , she will.
Every one she meets falls under her spell
She does enjoy a trip to the beach & running in circles on the sand, she also, on hot days, loves standing or sitting in a paddle pool to cool off.
Did I mention she loves car rides & will, given the opportunity, hop inside a vehicle if the door is left open!
When out for a walk, you cant help but take your time, as every one you come across will want to stop & pat her big head, & ask about her....she is kind of unique in her looks & personality.
On saying she is not overly energetic, she has also proved herself to be too strong & stubborn for any one not as equally strong & stubborn as she is!
Kookie has got to be one of our favourite dogs of all time... if of course we had favourite dogs....
Kookie is a special girl, who needs a special home, with special people in her life.

Adoption details
The first step towards adoption is to complete our simple adoption/enquiry form so we can learn more about you and your lifestyle and see if that's a good fit for the pet you have in mind.
Completing the form does not oblige you to proceed any further if you don't wish to.
From there, we can arrange a meet and greet and if satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the founder of the rescue group.
