About Dancer (Solo)
Solo is a bright, affectionate young dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is a smaller medium sized boy who forms strong bonds with his people and loves being part of everyday life.
Solo is a clever dog who enjoys learning and responds well to guidance and routine. During his time in a home environment he has already made great progress with training, including improving his manners around jumping up and learning to focus more calmly on walks. He enjoys getting out and about and likes exploring the world with his people.
Like many young dogs, Solo is full of energy and enthusiasm. He thrives when he has structure, activity and someone who enjoys working with him. He is the kind of dog who will do well with a person who appreciates his intelligence and is happy to continue guiding him as he matures.
Solo has been living in a home with another dog and while they are often able to walk and spend time together calmly, there have been instances of conflict between the dogs around attention from their people. Because of this, Solo would ideally be placed as the only dog in the home so he can focus on his relationship with his people and continue developing his skills in a stable environment. A calm, well matched dog may be possible in the future with careful introductions, but a single dog home is likely to suit him best at this stage.
He can also be sensitive to fast movement such as children on scooters, bikes or people running. With patient guidance and positive reinforcement he has already started making progress, but his new home should be prepared to continue helping him build confidence in these situations.
Solo is affectionate, loyal and very people focused. He loves spending time with his humans and will happily soak up attention and companionship. Someone who has time to include him in daily activities and continue his training will see just how rewarding he can be.
Solo is currently located in Perth and would love to find a home where his enthusiasm, intelligence and loving nature can really shine.
If you think Solo could be the right fit for your home, please submit an adoption application and the team can arrange a meet and greet.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
