About Toffee
đŸ Meet Toffee â A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Forever Home đŸ
Name: Toffee
Age: 2â3 years
Toffee is a beautiful medium-haired calico who came into care heavily pregnant and lovingly raised six gorgeous kittens, all of whom are now grown and ready for adoption. With her mum duties complete, itâs finally Toffeeâs turn to be pampered and loved.
She has a soft, luscious calico coat and gentle, green eyes that reflect her calm and loving nature. Toffee moves gracefully, often approaching people quietly to ask for affection in the sweetest way, with a head boop and a chirrup.
Toffee loves human company and affection, mealtimes and calm, peaceful environments where she can fully relax. She enjoys spending time in shared living areas where she can be close to her people, watch whatâs happening around her, and relax to her heartâs content, often choosing the coolest tiles for a comfortable nap.
Toffee gets along wonderfully with other cats, and would likely be suitable for families with respectful children who understand gentle handling.
She is untested with dogs, but she may suit a calm, cat-savvy dog with slow, thoughtful introductions.
Toffeeâs ideal home is a calm, loving home where she can enjoy plenty of human affection and companionship. Toffee would thrive with someone wanting a friendly, gentle, people-oriented cat and a peaceful environment with respectful pets.
đ Toffee has given so much love as a mumânow sheâs ready to receive it in her forever home.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
