Hi, I’m Paddy!
I came into rescue with my litter and our mum- our breeder wasn't able to keep caring for us and decided to get us some help. Since then, I've been thriving!
I’m a fit, friendly all-rounder who gets along with pretty much everyone. Dogs? Love them. People? Absolutely. Kids? Yep. I even lived with chooks for a bit and I got along great with them. I’m a respectful, easy housemate - I'm a puppy so I'll still need ongoing guidance and training, but I've got great foundations!
I’m crate trained, I travel well in the car, and I’m always up for an adventure with my family. Whether it’s a drive, a walk, or a day out, I’m the kind of dog who jumps in with a happy wag and an open heart. I've only had one accident inside since coming into care, and I sleep soundly overnight in my crate. I really like my crate; the door is left open mostly, and I will just take myself in there for a sleep. It's my happy safe place. I can be a bit nervous with new people but that's pretty normal for dogs my age, and I warm up really quickly!
When it's time for my carer to go to work, I happily spend the day in the yard with the other dog here. I rarely bark, but when I do, it's only to let you know someone is in the front yard- something that gives my carer some extra peace of mind! I haven't learned to walk on a leash yet, but that will probably be easy- I've picked up the house routines with ease and I am food motivated, so learning these sorts of things should be easy and fun to do together!
I’d make a fantastic family pet; gentle, adaptable, and eager to please. I'm incredibly smart and sweet and just a lovely natured puppy. You’ll just need secure fencing to keep me safe, a doggy friend and in return you’ll get a loyal, sweet-natured boy who fits right into the rhythm of your home. I'm a mixed breed- my mum is a purebred Maremma, and my dad is next door's arab x. So I will be a big boy when fully grown!
After everything I’ve been through, I’m ready for my happy furever after where I’m loved, wanted, and finally home. ❤️🐾

Before applying, please consider and finalise the following:

- Fence requirements
- Outside shelter areas
- Other resident pets fully vaccinated and preferably desexed
- The rescue pet's dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed, age
- Enrichment, exercise and training needs of pet you are applying for
- If you have not read our adoption process below in full, please do not apply until you have.
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet. We will not contact you if you do not complete the form in full AND provided the required photos of yard/fencing within 48hrs. If you apply to adopt but require us to hold the pet more than 3 days before meeting, we will ask you for a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters. This holding deposit will be subtracted from the adoption fee should you adopt the animal on hold for you.
