About Delta
Delta is a sweet, gentle young Greyhound cross with a soft nature and a thoughtful approach to the world. She's still growing in confidence and blossoms when given kindness, reassurance, and time. Delta is very food-motivated and loves working for tasty treats, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience for both her and her adopter.
While toys aren't her thing just yet, she's always keen to engage when food is involved and enjoys calm, positive interactions. Delta can be a little unsure around other dogs, so she'll do best with patient introductions and supportive guidance as she continues learning about her surroundings. She could also benefit greatly from being matched with a calm, confident role model dog who can help ease her anxiety and support her as she builds confidence.
Delta is likely to form a strong bond with her people and will thrive in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and supported. With gentle structure and encouragement, she'll continue to build confidence and independence and make a wonderfully loyal companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
For horse, livestock or poultry enquiries please email horsesandlivestock@rspcavic.org.au
