About Power
Power is a gorgeous, sweet little girl who is building her confidence every day. In the last few weeks, she's met lots of new people and a friendly dog, and has done so great. She became besties with the dog and is loving her new foster home and the lovely new people she has met.
In her previous foster home she had some other cats to play with and she was great with them too. She'd be very happy in a home with other pets to hang out with - she doesn't mind if they're cats or dogs.
With her new found confidence she will come and say hello to new people who come into the house and when you pat her she purrs like a steam train. She'll purr even harder if you give her a treat!
She doesn't mind hanging out by herself. She's perfectly happy snoozing and looking out the window. She would probably prefer a quieter home as small grabby kids are really not her thing. She was perfectly fine with the teens in her first foster home.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
