About Slinky
Meet Slinky - Your New Best Friend! (FOSTER TO ADOPT - City of Greater Bendigo Residents)
Slinky is a 6-month-old Dachshund pup, with a personality as long as his little sausage body!
This happy-go-lucky boy is full of energy, love, and charm. He's the kind of dog who will make you laugh with his playful antics and adorable expressions.
Slinky's favorite hobbies include:
- Zoomies around the yard (he's fast for such short legs!)
- Cuddling up on the couch after a big play
- Collecting squeaky toys like they're treasures
- Being the center of attention. Because honestly, he deserves it!
He's a social little guy who gets along beautifully with other dogs, so he'd love a furry sibling or some doggy playdates.
At just six months old, Slinky is still learning the ropes, which means he'll thrive with a family who can give him plenty of love, guidance, and fun adventures.
He's smart, eager to please, and ready to soak up all the training you can offer.
Slinky isn't just cute, he's the whole package: loyal, loving, and full of joy. Whether you're looking for a walking buddy, a snuggle partner, or a little comedian to keep life exciting, Slinky is ready to wiggle his way into your heart.
Could Slinky be your perfect match?
If you're ready to give this sweet boy the forever home he deserves, reach out today. Slinky can't wait to meet you and start his next big adventure.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
