About Willa
Meet Willa, the delicate and sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix with a heart brimming with potential. At approximately 11 kg, this gentle sweetheart came into the world around May 17, 2022, and is eagerly searching for a patient companion who will help her blossom into the confident pup she is meant to be.
Although Willa is quite shy, she possesses a heart full of promise. Her initial timidness fades away once she begins to trust you, allowing you to witness the treasure inside. She is still learning that the world is a kind place, but with love, patience, and understanding, she'll feel at ease. Being around smaller dogs offers her comfort, as their company reassures her, and she is eager to engage once she feels confident.
Willa's gentle soul means that she's never shown anything but affection and kindness. She has an endearing quality of wanting to be called to her beloved people and feels safest when she knows she's close to you.
While Willa is initially fearful on a lead, she can be reassured through consistent routines and gentle guidance. She's eager to spend time in the company of someone who can offer gentle reassurance and companionship. Her interaction with the shelter's resident cat indicates her peaceful demeanor, as she is too frightened to approach but also shows no aggression—a true testament to her tender spirit.
Willa yearns for a quiet and loving home where she can flourish. In a supportive and understanding environment with a patient guardian, Willa's shyness will soon transform into loyalty and affection, proving she has no bad bone in her body. She has a lot of love to share and looks forward to the warmth and companionship of her new family.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
