About Obie
Meet Obie 🐾
Obie is a gorgeous puppy who has been raised in foster care since 6 weeks of age. He has grown up in a home environment, not a kennel, and has been well socialised with people, normal household noises, and daily routines.
Because he has been in foster care from such a young age, Obie has had a great start to life. He is confident, curious, and enjoys human company. He loves playtime, cuddles, and exploring the world around him, and he is learning how to be a well mannered family dog.
Obie will need a home that understands puppies take time, patience, and consistency. He will need ongoing training, guidance, and boundaries as he grows. Puppies are not low maintenance, and he will need someone committed to continuing his socialisation, basic training, and routine.
He would suit a home where someone is around often, or willing to invest the time needed to help him grow into a balanced adult dog. A securely fenced yard and a commitment to daily interaction, play, and enrichment is essential.
Obie is being raised through rescue, which means his adoption fee goes straight back into helping other animals in need.
If you are looking for a puppy to grow with your family and you are ready for the responsibility that comes with it, Obie could be the one for you.

*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
