About Honey
Introducing Honey
True to her name, Honey is a sweet little female cat who came into AWL underweight and in need of some extra TLC. With care and kindness, she’s blossomed into a gentle, affectionate companion who has completely won over her foster carer.
Honey loves human company and is happiest sitting beside you, whether you’re watching the odd soapie or settling in for a movie. While she isn’t a fan of being picked up and cuddled, she shows her affection by staying close and enjoying your presence.
Still a young cat with so much love to give, Honey is currently in foster care with two other cats and is learning to trust them. With a slow and thoughtful introduction, she would happily coexist with another feline-friendly kitty.
If you’re interested in adopting Honey, please apply via her profile. If your application is successful, one of our volunteers will be in touch to organise a meet and greet.
Honey is in foster care in Western Sydney, close to Parramatta.
Best with Children Aged: 6 years +
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
