About Sid, the greyhound
If you are interested in Sid, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/4YdfUixpmWdJ4StT9
Meet Sid, the greyhound with a heart as big as his personality. Sid will fill your life with cuddles, charm, and a touch of silliness. Whether you’re living in an apartment or a house, Sid is a versatile companion who’s content as long as he’s with you. He has excellent lead manners, making him the perfect partner for exploring city streets, where he confidently struts along, soaking up pats and affection from everyone he meets.
Sid is a true character with a flair for entertainment. He’s known for his playful antics, including his signature roaching pose, complete with rolling around and serenading you with a happy little tune. While he loves to explore, Sid also has a lovely off switch. He happily settles at home, can hold his toileting needs overnight, and will let you know when he needs to head outside. As he continues to settle into pet life, he’s still polishing his indoor manners and may occasionally need gentle reminders, something that’s already improving with routine and guidance.
Sid would shine as a solo dog, as he really enjoys one-on-one time, but he could also do well with another greyhound companion. He’s friendly and social with other greyhounds and, while he hasn’t had much exposure to other breeds yet, he can become a little over-excited around small dogs. With time, calm introductions, and ongoing guidance, this is an area he can continue to work on.
Sid is best suited to a home with older children aged 12+, where his enthusiasm and size can be matched comfortably.
Adopt Sid and you’ll bring home a silly, affectionate boy who’s ready to share his boundless love. This charming greyhound is guaranteed to fill your home with laughter, companionship, and plenty of cuddly moments for years to come.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
