About Alex rsuk012009
Meet Alex, the energetic young guy with a zest for life! This vibrant fellow is bursting with energy and always on the go, making every day an adventure. Whether he's chasing after his favorite toys or exploring the nooks and crannies of his environment, Alex is never one to sit still for long.
Playtime is Alex's absolute favorite, and he relishes every moment of it. He loves a home filled with stimulating toys to keep his agile mind and body occupied. After a long day of adventures, Alex enjoys nothing more than curling up in a warm lap; your lap! Vitally, Alex is incredibly affectionate and adores being with his people, soaking up all the attention you're willing to give.
While he is full of charm, Alex would do best in an adult-only home or with older children, as his enthusiastic play can sometimes lead to unintentional scratches. Additionally, Alex must be your only feline companion, as he does not tolerate other cats in his space and is all too quick with defenders. However, Alex's loving nature and lively spirit more than make up for this; he's the ideal feline family member for anyone who wants a fun, engaging, loyal friend who sticks like glue.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
