Are you looking for a reason to finally cancel that gym membership and take your cardio to the Great Outdoors? Meet Baci, a stunning Husky/Kelpie cross who is essentially a sentient lightning bolt wrapped in fur.

Baci isn't just a "walk around the block" kind of guy; he's a "let's hike that mountain and then play fetch for an hour" kind of guy. With the intelligence of a Kelpie and the adventurous spirit of a Husky, he is looking for a co-pilot who matches his zest for life.

Baci would LOVE his new home to have a large, secure backyard. Baci needs room to stretch those athletic legs and practice his signature "zoomies. Secondary school-aged children (12+) and older are Baci's ideal housemates. Bacci is a big, bouncy boy who might accidentally knock over little ones in his excitement. Socially? He may be open to a canine roommate! If you have a well-matched, confident dog who can handle his energy, they might just become the best of friends.

Baci is a smart cookie-he's already mastered the "Sit" command (especially if a ball is involved). However, like any elite athlete, he's still working on his "mental game." To ensure his best behaviour, he'll need a little help working on Impulse Control. Sometimes his brain says "GO!" before his human says "Yes." He needs a patient coach to help him learn that good things come to those who wait.

New people and places can be a bit overwhelming. Baci thrives with gradual, positive introductions. As with any other dog, Baci is learning that being handled is a good thing! He'll need continued counter-conditioning, which is just a fancy way of saying "giving him treats while teaching him that touch is okay."
