Mercan

Mercan is a 12-year-old grey and white cat with a calm, gentle presence. He is a very affectionate boy who absolutely love getting cuddles and pats from his favourite people. He initially came in to the shelter as a timid and nervous cat, but over time he has warmed up to all the staff and loves nothing more than being a lap cat.

Mercan enjoys food very much and never misses a chance for a tasty meal or treat. The key to his heart is a nice tasty meal, and if given a treat he will be your new shadow, wanting to be curled up on your bed or your couch. Dogs can be a bit scary for Mercan, and he would prefer to not live with one if possible, but he wouldn’t mind a kitty companion.

Like most cats, Mercan can be a bit unsure with a lot of change, and when going home he will need things taken very slow. He would be best suited to a quiet home where there is not too much noise or activity. A calm environment helps him feel secure and relaxed, allowing him to be his true self. With patience, understanding, and a peaceful space to call his own, Mercan makes a gentle and low-key companion.
