About Jax
Jax is the definition of a classic void, so good at hiding in the shadows that you may lose him for a moment, only to find him springing into action seconds later. When Jax comes out to play, he transforms into a sleek, energetic little panther, moving with grace, speed, and confidence.
Jax absolutely thrives with other kittens and would love a home where he has a playful feline friend. He adores chasing, pouncing, and turning cat scratchers into ninja training grounds during epic zoomie sessions. Playtime is one of his favourite ways to bond, and his energy is contagious.
Once the excitement winds down, Jax reveals his softer side. He is calm, affectionate, and deeply cuddly, often curling up under your chin and settling in close for comfort. Jax is a social sweetheart who loves people and even tolerates dogs, making him a wonderful fit for many types of households.
With his perfect balance of playful panther and gentle cuddlebug, Jax is ready to bring both fun and affection to his forever home.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
