About Shadow SUA014261
Meet Shadow, an absolutely delightful senior gentleman who will steal your heart with his gentle grace and loving nature. Though he's not the type to sit on your lap, Shadow finds immense joy in being right by your side, keeping you company as only a devoted feline companion can. With his playful spirit still shining brightly, he enjoys batting around ping pong balls and chasing feather toys, proving that age is just a number.
Shadow is searching for a calm and quiet home where he can enjoy life alongside a kindred spirit who appreciates the simple pleasures. At bedtime, he expects to share your bed, a testament to the deep bond he forms with his person. A ramp to help him curl up in comfort would be ideal, ensuring his golden years are as cozy as they are joyful.
It's important to note that Shadow has a specific preference for a tidy living space, especially when it comes to his litter tray. He insists, with the utmost politeness, on frequent cleanings and requests clumping litter, favoring the brand Catsan. This delightful soul offers boundless affection and companionship, making him the perfect addition to a loving home where he can shower his human with loyalty and warmth. If you're looking to share your life with a beautiful and loving soul, Shadow is the perfect match for you.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
