About Nutmeg
Meet Nutmeg! This sweet, quiet kitty is the kind of companion who brings calm and comfort to a home. Affectionate without being demanding, she enjoys gentle attention, soft pets, and being near her people. She’ll also happily nap in a sunny spot or watch the world go by yet always appreciative of kindness and companionship.
Nutmeg does beautifully with other cats and would be a lovely addition to a multi-cat household. Nutmeg is respectful of boundaries and easygoing, making friendships come naturally. Even better, she also get along well with dogs who are calm and cat savvy. If you’re looking for a peaceful, loving presence who fits easily into almost any home, this special kitty could be the perfect match. Nutmeg will steal your heart and makes every day a little cozier. Nutmeg will need to remain indoors to keep her safe from outside dangers. Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
