About 12526 - Jed
šæš¦„ INTRODUCING JED š¦„šæ
Nature
This wonderful, quirky boy has been a street cat all his life. He was kindly being fed by a member of the public, but when he became very injured and unwell, the Angels were called in to help save him.
Itās been a long road to recovery for Jed, but in that time, he has decided he loves being a house cat - lying on the bed all day and watching the comings and goings of household life.
Jed was so accepting of his medical treatment and seemed to understand he was being helped. He is quite the character! He may not be the most conventionally handsome boy, but he has a beautiful character.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
A child-free home is a must, as he can get overstimulated and may swipe. Heād prefer to live out his retired street cat years in peace!
Jed must be an only cat, and a quiet, understanding household would suit him fine.
Jed gets on very well with the foster family dog and isnāt fazed by his loud bark.
Likes / Dislikes
Jed is very happy to receive a stroke and a head scratch, but he limits his acceptance to a few of each, then likes to be left alone. He loves to be brushed, and food is everything to this big boy.
At night, he likes to be confined to a room or the laundry, as he gets disoriented in the dark and canāt find the litter box. Keeping him and the litter box in the same area helps him.
Jed doesn't like being bossed around, but will happily comply with just about anything if food is involved.
My PURR-fect home would be a mature home as a solo kitty. Iām a sweet, quirky fellow who has had a second chance at life and am now looking for the next chapter. I want to be loved, spoiled, and finally at peace with my own people.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
