About Umbra
*In foster care in Erskineville, Sydney*
Charming young Umbra is one of the world's quiet observers - a gentle soul who prefers the softer side of life. If you’re someone who moves carefully, speaks kindly, and understands that love doesn’t always arrive loudly, you might just be her perfect match!
We think she's a little like Elphaba from Wicked - misunderstood at first glance, but SO sweet once you know her. Her all-black coat is seriously bewitching, and her striking green eyes miss nothing! She enjoys watching over her domain from up high or from a cosy, tucked-away spot, where she can feel safe and serene.
Umbra may not rush into the centre of the room, demanding the limelight, but offer her a gentle hand and a soft chin scratch and you’ll hear her purr start before you even make contact :) This beautiful girl bonds deeply, thoughtfully and with everlasting loyalty to those who respect her needs.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Umbra is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I’m looking for a patient forever family who appreciates peaceful vibes and the magic of earning trust over time. If you believe love can be calm, steady and incredibly special, then I'm the girl for you!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a low-key lady, though I do have fun playing with my toys (when nobody's watching).
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I don't like hustle and bustle, but I think I'd get along well with considerate children whose hobbies and interests aren't too loud :) Please be aware that sometimes I prefer to watch rather than be touched. I’m very good at communicating my comfort level, and I thrive when my boundaries are noticed and respected.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
