About Blinky
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
A tiny ray of sunshine, Blinky is cuddly and playful, calm and gentle - simply purrfect in every way!
Her limited vision doesn't stop her from squeezing every drop of joy out of life. Incredibly confident, she has no trouble finding her litter tray, food and favourite humans :) And when she gets excited, she likes to attack ghosts and chase balls only she can see. It's almost unbearably cute!
This darling kitten is also super social and can't get enough love! She's especially partial to being picked up and patted, snuffling in your hair, and snuggling on top of you before drifting off to sleep.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Blinky is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be indoors only, to keep me safe from outside dangers. Another nice cat to show me the ropes and keep me company would be amazing too! But for bare basics, a loving home with kind people, delicious food and lots of fun toys (paper balls are great!) would do me just fine.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a pretty typical kitten in most ways, including my activity level - switching up long bouts of playtime with equally long snuggle and snooze sessions.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Great, I'd say! Though I haven't met any children yet, I don't get startled easily and I'm very gentle when I play. My bites are soft and sweet, and I sometimes just want to touch and smell everything on people's faces which kids might like!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: The adult cats and other kittens in my foster home have been wonderful friends for me! I'm used to the sound of dogs barking too. Not much fazes me, really :)
When it comes to living side-by-side with dogs, I'll need to know they're totally safe for me to be around, as my limited vision can make me vulnerable.
Medical notes
Being partially blind, Blinky is able to get around confidently in a home environment but for her safety will need to be an indoor-only cat.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
