About Kestrel - Meet me @ Meet & Greet Day 18 Apr
Meet Kestrel, a spirited and vivacious cat with an unmistakable zest for life! This boisterous and playful feline is seeking a home where fun and adventure are always on the agenda and routines and rules are often bent or nonexistent.
Kestrel is known for being a bit of a leader, living by their own rules and with a natural dominance that sets the tone of the household with flair and charm. Their lively nature and mischievous antics promise to keep the household energetic and entertaining.
You'll find Kestrel to be a delightful companion, always ready to chase, pounce, and partake in playtime extravaganza. Endless fun is what Kestrel is all about, and you'll never tire of watching this dynamic kitty in action.
If you have a home where the fun never stops, and if you're looking for a cat who knows their mind and often has half a paw out the door, Kestrel just might be the new feline friend you've been waiting for!
My brother Starling is also available for adoption and although we’d be excited to make new kitty friends, we would also be content to stay together!
Kestrel will be at Oakleigh Central Veterinary Clinic on Saturday 18 April between 10am-2pm for our Meet and Greet day. Everyone is invited to head in to the clinic to meet Kestrel and many of our other cats and kittens during the event.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
